Refund & Return Policy

Thank you for shopping with The Mystical You. As a luxury metaphysical boutique offering rare, delicate, and energetically sensitive items, we maintain a carefully structured return policy designed to protect both our customers and the integrity of our inventory. Many of our offerings are fragile, one-of-a-kind, or energetically unique, and therefore require strict handling, documentation, and verification standards. By placing an order with The Mystical You, you acknowledge and agree to all policies outlined below.

Return Window

  • Online Purchases: Return requests must be submitted within 14 days of delivery.
  • In-Store Purchases: Returns or exchanges must be requested within 14 days of purchase.
  • European Union Customers: You are entitled to a 14-day cooling-off period in accordance with EU consumer protection laws.

Any return request made outside of these timeframes will not be accepted under any circumstance.

Damages & Order Issues

Due to the delicate and often rare nature of our products, all damages, missing items, or incorrect items must be reported within 3 days of delivery. This timeframe is strictly enforced in order to comply with carrier claim requirements. Claims submitted after 3 days will be automatically denied without exception. To qualify for a damage claim, customers are required to provide clear photographic or video documentation of the following:

  • The damaged item itself
  • All original inner and outer packaging materials
  • The exterior shipping box clearly showing visible damage

These materials are mandatory in order to submit a transportation claim with the shipping carrier. Claims cannot be processed without complete documentation. Failure to provide all required images and/or video will result in automatic denial of the claim. Once documentation is received, our team will review the claim and determine eligibility for replacement or refund at our sole discretion.

Approved claims will be resolved as quickly as possible.

Return Eligibility

To be eligible for any approved return:

  • Items must be completely unused and in original condition
  • Items must be in their original packaging
  • All seals must be intact
  • Proof of purchase is required
  • Prior written authorization is required before sending any return
  • Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs
  • Returns sent without authorization will be refused and returned to sender

Non-Returnable Items

For hygiene, safety, authenticity, and quality-control reasons, the following items are strictly non-returnable and non-refundable:

  • Crystals, stones, and all mineral specimens of any kind
  • Shells, Fossils or meteorites
  • Open liquids, oils, sprays, herbs, incense, and used smudge products
  • Perishable items of any type
  • Gift cards (physical or digital)
  • Custom or personalized items
  • Books (only accepted for return in perfect, unread condition with original packaging within 3 days of purchase)
  • Personal care and beauty products
  • Hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases
  • Items marked as Final Sale

Due to the unique and easily replaceable nature of stones, crystals, and many ritual items, all sales of these categories are final. This policy is strictly enforced to protect against substitution, authenticity disputes, energetic contamination, and misuse. If you are unsure whether an item qualifies for return, you must contact us before purchasing, as exceptions cannot be made after checkout.

Refunds

Once an authorized return is received and inspected, you will be notified of the approval or rejection of your refund, if approved:

  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 10 business days
  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable
  • A 3% restocking and processing fee applies to all returned items
  • If more than 15 business days have passed since your refund was approved, please contact returns@themystical-you.com

Exchanges

We only replace items if they arrive damaged or defective and the damage is reported within the required 3-day window with complete documentation. All other exchanges require the original item to be returned according to our return process and a new order placed separately.

Gift Returns

Items gifted and shipped directly to the recipient will receive store credit for approved returns. If the order was not marked as a gift, refunds are issued to the original purchaser.

Customers are fully responsible for all return shipping costs. Shipping fees are non-refundable. For items valued over $50, insured and trackable shipping is strongly required. We are not responsible for lost or damaged return shipments.

Final Notice

Due to the rare, delicate, and energetically sensitive nature of many of our offerings, all return policies are enforced strictly and without exception. By placing an order with The Mystical You, customers acknowledge and agree to all policies stated above.
